National Travel Deals Launches Donation Program
Through its CarRentals4Kids donation program, National Travel Deals, an online car rental service provider, will donate $1 from every completed rental to Moffitt Cancer Center of Tampa, Fla.
NationalTravelDeals.com (NTD), a U.S.-based online car rental service provider, has launched its donation program CarRentals4Kids.
The new program will donate $1 from every completed vehicle rental to Moffitt Cancer Center of Tampa, Fla. — in honor of Michelle Boyd DeJong, a business owner battling brain cancer. Customers can also donate to the cause by entering the code “Fighter” at reservation, says the company.
Throughout 2014, National Travel Deals says it hopes to raise $50,000 or more.
“Michelle has supported our community for many years, especially Tampa's children,” said Jeff Stanislow, a partner at National Travel Deals. “Even though she's fighting her own battle with cancer, her goal is much larger than obtaining her own win. She desperately wants to be involved with finding the cure, so that no one else has to suffer through this difficult diagnosis.”
