Orbitz Releases ‘Flights, Hotels, Cars’ App for iPad
The app allows users to search, compare and book rental cars from their tablet. Users can download the new app from the App Store.
Orbitz launched the Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars app for iPad on Feb. 25, allowing consumers to search and book all three major components of a trip.
Users will be able to compare details of multiple rental cars directly from their tablet. The app also contains travel tools that sync travel itineraries to the iPad calendar and provide information on any changes or delays.
Similar to the iPhone app, the new app features Orbitz Mobile Steals, filtering capabilities and an iPad-optimized experience for ease of use.
The iPad app is available to download from the App Store.
To mark the launch of the new app, Orbitz will be giving away a trip for two to Chicago that includes first-class round-trip airfare and a two-night stay in a suite at the Peninsula Chicago hotel. Consumers can enter the giveaway on the Orbitz Facebook page until March 2.
