Orbitz Renews Hertz Partnership
A multi-year distribution deal encompasses Orbitz, CheapTickets and corporate travel brands.
Orbitz Worldwide, Inc., an online travel company, recently announced a renewed distribution partnership with The Hertz Corporation.
Orbitz Worldwide will continue to offer Hertz rental cars across its group of brands, including Orbitz, CheapTickets, and corporate travel brands including Orbitz for Business and Travelport for Business.
The agreement also includes and allows for merchandising and marketing opportunities between the two companies.
Through this comprehensive multi-year partnership, Orbitz Worldwide will be able to continue offering its customers online rates for Hertz vehicles. This includes stand alone car rentals as well as rentals purchased as part of travel packages (e.g., air+hotel+car bookings).
Working to provide customers with even more Hertz rental options, Orbitz Worldwide is expanding its rental car inventory to feature Hertz's Fun Collection and Green Collection vehicles.
