ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-- Payless Car Rental System has expanded to the Chicago market with two new franchise locations in Buffalo Grove and Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The franchise openings are part of Payless Car Rental's aggressive development plan to double the number of worldwide locations by 2003.

"Our proximity to the airport offers easy access for the business and recreational traveler," said Arthur Friedman, Payless franchise owner for the O'Hare and Buffalo Grove locations. "We're the closest car rental company outside of the airport and offer shuttle service to the Payless counter in just minutes." The location will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Payless O'Hare International Airport franchise is located at 3950 N. Mannheim Road, and the Buffalo Grove franchise is located at 1503 W. Dundee Road. Bruce David is general manager for both locations.

The Chicago fleet consists of 2000 and 2001 low-mileage vehicles, ranging from the compact Chevy Cavalier to the luxury Lincoln Town Car. The selection includes cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs.
