Payless Car Sales, Inc. continues to expand its brand across the Nation adding five new dealerships and two new states to its quality pre-owned car sales franchise system. The new stores are located in Athens, Texas, Bakersfield and Sacramento, Calif., Sedona, Ariz. and Seymour, Ind.
"In today's increasingly competitive marketplace branding is more important than ever", said Payless President and COO, Mike Harley. "With so many choices, savvy consumers look to a brand, a name they recognize and trust, to help them save both time and money. When looking for a quality pre-owned vehicle at a great price", added Harley, "the name that more and more shoppers are beginning to think of is Payless Car Sales".
"2006 has been a great year for Payless. We've added several new states and a number of new dealers, cemented quality relationships with some key industry players like Capitol One Auto Finance and Citigroup Financial Group and secured a Master Franchise Development Agreement for expansion into Canada" said Harley. "Our unique franchising formula "National Brand - Local Identity" is being well received by independents seeking to grow their businesses. They realize that by affiliating with Payless they can capitalize on the best of both worlds - "local reputation" and "trusted acceptance" at a much broader level". "Frankly", Harley added, "with the way things are developing, I believe 2007 will be our best year ever".
Payless Car Sales was initially formulated to provide a sales platform for disposing of rental vehicles for its sister company Payless Car Rental. It became a separate entity in February 2002 and has now grown to nearly 60 locations in 16 states and Puerto Rico. With that kind of growth and demonstrated success, inquiries from independents around the country and beyond have been steadily increasing.
Payless Car Sales, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Florida-based Avalon Global Group, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Payless group of companies upholds the highest business standards and continually strives for opportunities to diversify and improve the Payless brand.
