Payless Car Sales announced it is adding four dealerships to continue its expansion in the Southeast. The new stores are in Fitzgerald and Warner Robins, Ga., Madison, Tenn. and Miami, Fla.
According to executives, the Miami opening is the company's fourth store in the city, and the second location for one of the franchised dealers.
"Our mission here at Payless is to help the independent dealer licensee take their business to its next level," said Mike Harley, Payless president and COO. "We do that by providing them access to a wide variety of Payless Preferred Partnership arrangements with industry leaders in every aspect of the business, including local, regional and national lenders, as well as covering warranty and extended service contract providers, insurance, marketing, technology and so on."
Harley explained that the used car business has seen drastic changes with the online revolution. The independent dealer is competing with a much larger number of stores, with consumers increasingly going online to shop for the car of their dreams, according to Harley.
"We've been very successful at leveraging the Payless brand online and in providing our dealers with a highly optimized Internet platform at www.PaylessCarSales.com, which allows their inventories to be highly ranked with the major search engines and thus viewed by the largest possible audience of Internet users looking for quality pre-owned vehicles," Harley added.
