Payless to Launch 5 Dual-function Stores, CPO Program
Payless Car Sales and Payless Car Rental will join forces to offer five multi-service stores around Orlando, Fla., with national launch planned. Payless Car Sales will introduce a certified pre-owned vehicle program in the fourth quarter.
Payless Car Sales and Payless Car Rental will operate five new dual-functioning stores in the Orlando region of Florida, the companies announced in a press release Aug. 23. Bob Dance Imports Inc., a family-owned business that owns and operates Kia and Hyundai franchises in central Florida, will be the first dealer.
Each joint Payless store will offer both used car sales and daily car rentals. The first store opens in Sanford, Fla., and Scott Dance, the franchise owner and operating principal, said in the press release that he expects to open car sales Oct. 1, and car rental soon after. The Florida locations are setting up Payless Car Sales and Payless Car Rental — both subsidiaries of Avalon Global Group — for a national launch, the release states.
Payless Car Sales will also introduce “Payless Assurance,” a certified pre-owned vehicle program, during the fourth quarter of this year. The program will include a limited warranty, vehicle history, inspection and reconditioning, and other features.
