Michael Kane has been named to Perfect Price's advisory board.

Perfect Price, the artificial intelligence company for pricing, has announced four rent-a-car pilots and a goal of 10 active pilots globally by the end of September.

“We are excited to see the car rental industry embrace new technology so quickly and wholeheartedly,” said Alex Shartsis, CEO of Perfect Price. “Our customers have taught us that data-driven pricing is a deep need and fixing it can be transformational.”

Additionally, Perfect Price has named Michael Kane, a veteran rental and leasing industry executive, to the company’s advisory board. After working with Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 20 years, Kane founded VRCG Inc. in 2000. He will be helping Perfect Price continue to develop solutions that meet the needs of both large and small rental car companies.

“I realized that Perfect Price could deliver huge value to the rental industry worldwide by taking the emotion out of pricing and avoiding the ‘race to the bottom’ in pricing that seems to happen too often,” said Kane. “This is an exciting new chapter for me, working with truly world class technology as I transition after 17 years of success at VRCG Inc.”
