According to AZcentral.com, car rental demand at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is forcing some rental car agencies to bring in additional vehicles due to the increased demand from spring break travelers and baseball spring-training.
An airport spokesperson said that some companies have run out of vehicles for walk-up customers and are urging customers to make a reservation. According to the article, a normal day at the Phoenix airport sees between 90,000 and 100,000 passengers, but during spring break season that number is at about 125,000 passengers per day.
