Platinum Car Rental, a Los Angeles-based luxury rental company, celebrated its five-year anniversary by adding the 2013 Ferrari F58 Spyder to its fleet.
Founded in 2008 by Sam Telikyan, Platinum Car Rental is located on Hollywood’s Sunset Blvd and is part of the Platinum Transportation Group, which provides luxury and exotic car rentals, chauffeured car service and picture cars to movie studios.

Platinum Transportation Group grew out of Platinum Motorsport, which began in 2006. Platinum Motorsport is a customizing and restyling shop and collision repair center that specializes in luxury and exotic vehicles. According to Telikyan, starting Platinum Car Rental to offer replacement rentals to Platinum Motorsport customers was a natural progression.
Starting with one car, Platinum Car Rental has grown to a diverse 60-car fleet today. Its rental vehicles include luxury sedans and SUVs — such as the Bentley GT, Audi R8 Spider, Mercedes-Benz G550 and Rolls Royce Phantom — as well as more mundane fare like the Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Jetta or a minivan.
Known as a top choice for picture cars, Platinum’s in-house body mechanical and fabrication shop can custom-build a vehicle for productions, and its staff and experienced crew will deliver picture cars to clients’ specifications.
In addition, Platinum has highly trained employees from professional security backgrounds — this experience in special events security offers clients personal and professional services for their protective needs.
Recognized globally, Platinum caters to celebrities, professional athletes, politicians, global travelers, local businesses and the general public.
West Coast disasters pose unique challenges and liabilities for rental fleet operators, who are advised to take steps tailored to their specific situations.
Angry car renters are storming social media, the mainstream media, and online ratings platforms to complain about charges they claim are either unfounded or excessive.
Revcuity, an outgrowth of Frontline Performance Group, aims to help clients capture more revenue moments with face-to-face customers, including in the car rental space.
