Renault MOBILITY announced a partnership with IKEA France to develop a self-service car rental solution with a 100% electric vehicle fleet for IKEA customers by 2020.
Renault MOBILITY will make its initial rollout at the IKEA Paris-Villiers location and expand to all French IKEA stores by September 2018. 300 thermal and electric vehicles will be available initially, with plans to shift to an all-electric fleet by 2020.
The 24/7 self-service car rental is already established throughout France with 180 available vehicles.
