Rent-A-Wreck of America, the parent company of Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless Rent-A-Car, today announced that George Moorhead has been named Area Development Manager for the company's Mid-Atlantic operations. In this role, he will work closely with franchise owners in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey to improve their car rental operations as well as to market new franchises for Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless Rent-A-Car.

Mr. Moorhead brings more than 30 years of operations and management experience to his new role, having held various positions of increasing responsibility in the industry prior to his becoming partner and General Manager of Looking Glass Associates. Looking Glass owned and operated over 20 franchised vehicle rental locations in Northern New Jersey, and at one time Eastern Pennsylvania. As General Manager, Mr. Moorhead oversaw retail stores, dealership alliances, insurance replacement, commercial truck accounts and a business segment which supplied vehicles to the movie production industry.
