Rental Fraud Suspects Apprehended in Shanghai
The two suspects are accused of defrauding over 40 victims of more than $160,000 since 2017.

Shanghai police arrested two people suspected of rental car fraud, according to SHINE.
The suspects allegedly signed long-term contracts with victims at low rates, but provided vehicles from rental agencies that had contracts of one month. After the latter's contract would expire, the rental company would take the car back.
Police have reported that there are over 40 victims of the fraud since 2017, totaling more than $160,000 in damages.
