Auto Rental Summit and CarRentalExpress.com announce that the second annual Renter Rated Award by CarRentalExpress.com will be presented at the 2014 Auto Rental Summit on Nov. 11.

CarRentalExpress.com is a comparison and bookings site dedicated to independent car rental agencies. Renter Rated is a CarRentalExpress.com exclusive program that allows renters to review and rate their CarRentalExpress.com rental in 9 categories using 1 to 5 stars, along with an opportunity to provide written comments about the rental. Each agency’s star rating can be viewed on CarRentalExpress.com.

This award will be presented to the independent car rental agency that scores the highest in the Renter Rated Program from Nov. 1, 2013 - Sept. 30, 2014. This year, runners up in three sub categories — Staff, Vehicles and Overall — will be recognized with honorable mentions.

In the Staff category, rentals are judged on these criteria: promptness of service, rate quote honored, staff knowledge and staff courteousness. In the Vehicle category, rentals are judged on vehicle availability, vehicle satisfaction and value, while the Overall category is judged on “recommend to others” and “would rent again.”

Renter Rated, in existence since 2005, has thousands of ratings of car rentals, said Stan Levy, chair of Express Internet Technologies, the parent company of CarRentalExpress.com. “There are many independent car rental agencies that excel in customer service with great fleets and competitive pricing,” Levy said. “The independents on the Renter Rated system will all be in the running to receive the second annual award.”

“The Renter Rated Program and Renter Rated Award represent an important step to showcase the great customer service of independent car rental companies,” said Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “We’re delighted to present the award at Auto Rental Summit, an event dedicated to improving customer service.”

Auto Rental Summit is a groundbreaking training and education conference designed to improve customer service and enhance revenue of car rental operations. Auto rental managers, executives and employees from corporate, franchised and independent companies from North America and overseas are invited to attend.

The 2014 Auto Rental Summit will be held Nov. 10-11 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., less than seven miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
