Revv Starts One-Way Commuting Program

Revv, an India-based carsharing service, has launched a new product aimed at customers wanting to use carsharing for commute purposes, according to a report by Voice and Data.
The one-way commuting program is slated to go live by the end of January. Users will be able to rent a car, have it delivered to their place, and have it picked up from a different place within the same city, according to the report.
This is part of Revv’s mission to broaden its “shared mobility” plan, which refers to different products that are meant to fit the needs of a user looking for sharing-based options instead of traditional ownership, says the report.
The cars will be locked remotely after a user has parked the car, instead of waiting to return the vehicle.
Founded in 2015, Revv currently operates in six cities across India, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, and Chandigarh.
