ROUSH CleanTech Expands Fleet Sales Team
Melissa Cox promoted to head transportation fleet sales across the United States.
LIVONIA, MICH. - ROUSH CleanTech, the industry leader in propane autogas vehicle technology, announces Melissa Cox will lead the outside sales team for transportation fleet sales. Cox's emphasis will be propane autogas sustainability solutions for the airport and shuttle industries while supporting both public and private fleets.
"I am excited to represent ROUSH CleanTech in this new role and ready to work with airport and transportation fleet managers to demonstrate the benefits of propane autogas," Melissa said. "This is the perfect solution for airports across the country looking to offset jet aircraft emissions. Propane autogas is 90 percent domestically produced, costs about 40 percent less than gasoline, reduces greenhouse gases up to 25 percent and is available to deploy right now."
Melissa was promoted from ROUSH CleanTech's inside sales department, where she supported the outside sales team, Ford dealerships and ROUSH CleanTech upfitters with account and customer relationship management. She also maintained business development reporting and benchmarking tools and acted as liaison between the sales and operations teams.
"We are thrilled about Melissa's promotion to transportation fleet sales," said Joe Thompson, president of ROUSH CleanTech. "She has an extensive background to provide the knowledge necessary for our customers in the airport and shuttle industries to make an informed decision when switching to propane autogas fleets."
Graduating magna cum laude, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and in Spanish from Olivet Nazarene University.
