Routes Car Rental, a Canadian-based car rental company, has named Bob Thunell as its vice president of sales.

Thunell, a 35-year veteran of the car rental industry, has worked in executive management capacities at the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Advantage Rent A Car, and most recently at Economy Rent A Car. He will be responsible for distribution and helping to grow the Routes brand throughout Canada, the United States, and beyond.

Routes has several locations across Canada, including Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Woodbridge, Scarborough, and North York, and a location at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
