Schoolber Ride-Hailing App Launches in Singapore
Schoolber provides a ride-hailing option to help transport children to school in Singapore.
Schoolber, a new ride-hailing service in Singapore, currently has 800 parent-drivers registered to help carpool children to school, according to a report by Stuff.
The ride-hailing app works as a subscription service, which ranges between $48 and $103 per month, says the report. Service fees do not need to be paid during semester breaks in June and December.
Parents receive notifications through the app when their kids have been dropped off or picked up from school, according to the report.
Schoolber is planning on increasing the pool size to at least 2,400 parent drivers by partnering with car rental companies such as WhizzCar and Popular Rent-A-Car, says the report.
