Servodidio Now Leading Avis Budget's International Market

Mark J. Servodidio has started his new role as president, International, for Avis Budget Group, as part of a senior management succession plan announced on Sept. 16.

In his new role, Servodidio will be responsible for leading the international region, which includes Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Previously serving as managing director, Europe, for Avis Budget Group, Servodidio has held a number of positions within the region since being named executive vice president for Franchise and Corporate Services in EMEA in 2013. He then advanced to managing director of the company's operations in northern Europe in May 2014.

"Mark has proven at every stage that he is a talented and capable leader with the vision to drive further success within the International region," said Larry D. De Shon, Avis Budget Group’s president and chief operating officer. "We are confident that we have significant growth opportunities within the international region, and Mark is the right person to lead our outstanding teams in pursuit of our strategic objectives."
