Silvercar, the app-based car rental operation, has been named to the 2015 Austin A-List by the Austin Chamber of Commerce. The fleet of silver Audi A4s has been honored as a promising startup.
Selected by a panel of independent judges from more than 275 nominations, Silvercar was named to the annual Austin A-List of Hottest Startups. The ceremony was held at ACL Live at Austin’s Moody Theater.

Recognition as an A-List company is intended to increase the visibility of Austin's most fundable, scalable and innovative regional startups.
Currently, Silvercar has airport locations in Austin, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Phoenix and Fort Lauderdale. It most recently opened a location at Chicago O-Hare Airport on June 15.
By the end of 2015, Silvercar will launch four to six new markets, according to the company.
