Silvercar has partnered with Chelsea Hotels to offer its on-demand rental service at the McCarren Hotel & Pool in New York City this summer. “The Easy Out” partnership (a limited-time pop up for the summer season) will provide customers with Silvercar Audi A4 rentals at the McCarren from July 1 through Sept. 7.
Customers were able to start reserving a rental via Silvercar’s app on Thursday June 25. After booking their reservation, customers access their car by simply opening the Silvercar app and tapping a button to alert their personal concierge that they’re about five minutes away. Then their Silvercar will be waiting right outside McCarren’s front door, according to the company.
“New York is much like an airport in the sense that the car rental experience is aggravating,” says Russell Lemmer, Silvercar vice president of marketing. “We thought New Yorkers needed a better way to get out of town, so Silvercar has delivered a hassle-free and streamlined experience ensuring that customers can make the most out of every weekend. For us, summer travel begged the question: if you could take ‘the easy out,’ why wouldn’t you?”
In celebration of Silvercar’s The Easy Out launch, each car will also contain a summertime-friendly travel pack stocked with Fred Water, OLLY Vitamins, a Shake Bag, OneBars, Gather Journal and the latest issue of Esquire magazine, according to the company.
