Silvercar has focused its attention for the first time on travel professionals. It has launched incentives aimed at introducing travel agents and their clients to Silvercar’s airport car-rental business.

In March, Audi announced that it intends to fully acquire Silvercar to expand its digital mobility solutions and services. The Silvercar website currently lists 15 locations.

According to the company, Silvercar is now offering benefits to help travel agents and their clients:

•    Agents will be rewarded with double commission totaling 12% of revenue for complete bookings between June 1, 2017 and Jan. 31, 2018.
•    For personal use, travel agents will receive a rate of $49 in all locations, except Manhattan and Brooklyn (book by 8/31/17, drive by 12/31/17)
•    A landing page just for travel professionals went live on June 1.

“Silvercar is philosophically aligned with the modern travel agent because both are committed to providing the modern traveler with a high-touch and hassle-free experience,” said Amber Quist, chief marketing officer of Silvercar. “Our hope is to introduce more travel professionals to Silvercar so they’re aware of the difference it can make for their most discerning clients.”
