Silvercar, an Austin-based technology company, announced Feb. 4 a limited-time offer for Dallas/Fort Worth Airport customers booking car rentals this month. Travelers can reserve their own Silvercar at a promotional rate of $75 per day via the Silvercar app, Silvercar.com or travel management companies.

“Our early response from DFW customers is worth celebrating," said Silvercar CEO Luke Schneider. "Just two weeks since we began operations, Silvercar reached sold-out status, with our fleet of 200 Audi A4s deployed."

Silvercar launched at DFW International Airport on Jan. 14, 2013.

“Our efforts in January focused on testing and fine-tuning our mobile customer experience,” Schneider said. “As we shift to encouraging trial, we’re confident the Silvercar experience will deliver many repeat customers.”

The $75 per day promotional offering is valid for rental transactions booked in February. The promotion also includes a weekend day rate of $50. No special code or coupon is required. Every Silvercar customer will receive this rate.
