Singapore Car Rental Manager Pleads Guilty for Embezzlement, Forgery
A Luze Car Rental manager in Singapore pleaded guilty for embezzling $6,164 in fees and payments from customers and forging signatures to meet his goal of recruiting members.
According to AsiaOne.com, a Luxe Car Rental company manager in Singapore was jailed for six weeks and fined $2,000 after pleading guilty for embezzling money from membership and rental fees from clients and forging customers’ signatures.
Mohammad Rizal Mohd Jasni, 37, misappropriated $6,164 in fees and payments from customers between February and April 2010.
He also forged signatures in order to meet his goal of recruiting two new members per month.
