Sixt, BMW Team Up for ‘Mille Miglia’ Car Rally
Sixt selected BMW as its cooperation partner for the event and also features vehicles of its own in the race.
Sixt AG, a European car rental company, planned a celebration as part of its participation in the vintage car rally Mille Miglia in honor of the rental company’s 100th anniversary. This year’s race is being held from May 16 to May 20.
Along the route, which stretches 100 miles from Brescia to Rome, Sixt prepared special surprises for participants and spectators, including transportation from their hotel to the route and back.
Sixt selected BMW as its cooperation partner for the event and also features vehicles of its own in the race. Six of the company’s 1950’s vehicles, including two Mercedes 300 cars, a Jaguar XK 120, a Porsche Speedster, a VW Standard and a Ferrari 250 GT Coupé will be featured.
“We’re looking forward to once again taking part in this spectacular vintage car rally in this, our anniversary year,” Regine Sixt said. “Mille Miglia has become an important part of the summer for us.”
