Sixt Debuts Mission Impossible Installation at Manchester Airport

The rebuilt aluminum Mercedes incorporates 3D printed wheels and other original elements, such as the car brand’s iconic three-pronged star badge.

Sixt has created an airborne, Mission Impossible style installation, which incorporates a life-size model car, at Manchester Airport.

The permanent advertising display has been hung from the rotunda in Terminal One’s departure lounge. The scene depicts four lifesize 3D printed puppets who appear poised to winch themselves down ropes and get their hands on the crown jewel, which in this case is Sixts 162kg full size replica of a Mercedes-Benz A-class car.

The rebuilt aluminum Mercedes incorporates 3D printed wheels and other original elements, such as the car brand’s iconic three-pronged star badge.

The installation’s props are supported by messaging which aims to target the 11 million passengers who pass through Terminal One each year and subsequently encourage them to rent a Mercedes-Benz.
