Sixt Expands in Caribbean

As of June 1, Sixt has expanded its network in the Caribbean by adding two new car rental franchises in Puerto Rico and Curacao.
In Puerto Rico, Sixt will start with a shuttle service to San Juan Airport and offer a fleet ranging from economy to luxury vehicles, says the company. A new flagship branch and further expansion on the island are planned for 2015.
Sixt Curacao will operate four locations, including an on-airport location at the Curacao International Airport with a fleet ranging from mini to standard vehicles as well as SUVs.
The Sixt franchise system currently has more than 80 master franchisees operating from approximately 1,000 worldwide locations, says the company.
