Sixt signed on a new franchise partner, formerly known as Country Car Rentals, in Ireland allowing customers to benefit from an improved range of services, according to Detlef Krehahn, Sixt international franchise senior VP. According to Sixt's announcement on July 4, the franchise partner has around 20 years of experience in the car rental industry.

Since 1998, Sixt has been present in the Irish rental vehicle market offering customers a full range of vehicles including small and mid-sized cars, SUVs, premium vehicles and minibuses.

“The new partnership will make a key contribution to creating synergies between Sixt partners and companies in Ireland and the United Kingdom in the vehicle rental and leasing sectors,” Krehahn said. “Private and business customers alike will soon benefit from this new partnership.”
