Sixt Opens First Branch in Western States with Location in Phoenix
Sixt opened a location at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Oct. 11.
Sixt announced its first move into the western states with the opening of a new branch in Phoenix, Ariz. The branch opened on Oct. 11 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
“Phoenix is booming, and Sixt’s Phoenix location is ready to serve business and leisure travelers alike,” said Brian Hughes, branch manager of the new Phoenix location, who brings 12 years of experience in the rental business.
The decision to open a new branch in Phoenix is in line with Sixt’s target market, the company said.
Phoenix is the sixth most populous city in the United States and is a key location that serves as a launching pad to top travel destinations such as the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Ariz. The Phoenix Airport is one of the 10 busiest airports in the country, with more than 700,000 passengers passing through every week, Sixt reported.
Sixt’s branch at the Phoenix Airport is open 24/7 to assist travelers.
With the addition of the Phoenix branch, Sixt now operates agencies in seven locations in the United States: Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Atlanta, Georgia.
