Sixt has opened its first Hawaiian station on Maui Island, expanding its presence to one of the world's most beautiful and popular vacation destinations. Travelers can pick up their dream vehicle directly at Maui Kahului Airport and explore the island's special sights, including the Road to Hāna, the famous whaler and plantation city Lāhainā, the south coast with Māʻalaea Bay, or the old sugar cane city with the coral reef Spartan Reef.

With the launch on Maui, Sixt is also bringing its premium services to the Hawaiian Islands. These include consistent customer orientation as well as a fleet of high-quality vehicles that covers all mobility needs on the island. For example, travelers can choose from convertibles or SUVs from renowned brands such as Jeep or Mercedes-Benz.

Successful Expansion in the USA

The launch on Maui marks the latest step in Sixt's successful U.S. expansion. With its premium strategy, the mobility service provider has a special position on the American market and has developed into the country's fourth-largest car rental company since the start in 2011.

Sixt already has a presence at 54 locations, including 20 top airports in the United States. The mobility service provider is strongly represented at Miami, Orlando, and Los Angeles airports, which are among the five largest stations in the worldwide Sixt network.

In recent months, Sixt has opened several new presences at important travel destinations. These included stations at San Antonio Airport, Philadelphia Airport, Denver Airport, Union Square in San Francisco, Chicago O´Hare Airport, and Battery Park in New York City.

Award-Winning Premium Services

Sixt's premium services have already received several awards in the USA. Most recently, the mobility service provider was honored with the World Travel Awards as the country's leading car rental company and the Trazee Award as the most popular car rental company among the Millennials target group.
