The Sixt World Congress is the company’s largest event, taking place for the 22nd time.

The company is using the Sixt World Congress to set the course for its strategic orientation in the coming years and to discuss important innovations for the mobility industry. The agenda is full of items such as developing new products and services that focus on customer benefits and continuing the company’s international expansion, particularly in Europe and the U.S.

Benefit concert for children in need

The World Congress’s headline event will be a benefit concert for the Regine Sixt Children’s Foundation Drying Little Tears at the Théâtre Royal in Marrakesh today. The foundation will present an exclusive program of classical works from Charles Gounod and Georges Bizet. Performances will include renowned artists and ensembles such as the soprano Cécile Lo Bianco, the Orchestre Philharmonique Du Maroc, the Chœur Philharmonique du Maroc, and Stella Spectacles — Le Ballet de Stella de Maroc.

Proceeds from the event will go in full to Regine Sixt Children’s Foundation’s aid projects for children in need around the world. Recent projects include the renovation of a school for Syrian and Pakistani children in a refugee camp in Beirut, Lebanon, the support of a kindergarten and a children’s home in Mandeni, South Africa, and emergency aid for victims of Hurricane Maria in Dominica and the earthquake in Oaxaca, Mexico.

The Regine Sixt Children’s Foundation is Sixt’s official corporate social responsibility program.
