Sixt Rent A Car Voted ‘Best Vehicle Rental Company’ by German Institute for Service Quality
The organization and TV news channel n-tv conducted a survey to evaluate Germany’s six largest vehicle rental companies in which Sixt was voted the overall winner as well as the top company in the ‘Service’ and ‘Terms & Conditions’ categories.
Sixt was named the Best Vehicle Rental Company 2012 in a car rental survey conducted by German Institute for Service Quality and the news channel, n-tv, on Aug. 24.
In addition to being the overall winner, Sixt took the top spot in both the “Service” and “Terms & Conditions” categories.
The survey evaluated six of Germany’s vehicle rental companies. The Service category assessed rental companies via website, telephone and e-mail tests.
In the Terms & Conditions category, Sixt offered the lowest prices in many of the requested combinations of rental periods and vehicle classes according to the standard inquiries for different classes of vehicle and rental periods that were submitted to each service provider.
“Sixt has managed to overtake its competitors, and the company scored highly on account of its good service quality and its low prices,” said German Institute for Service Quality Managing Director Markus Hamer. “Another positive is that Sixt also has a transparent overview of the prices of the extra services we inquired about on its website.”
