Twelve years after expanding to the U.S., Sixt now operates more than 100 U.S. car rental locations in 22 states. The company expanded to Canada last year.

Sixt USA is continuing its U.S. expansion by opening a new car rental branch on April 1 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, D.C.

The new branch will be one of the largest Sixt U.S. airport locations serving business, government, and leisure travelers. This new location joins a growing list of recent Sixt branch openings across North America, including Pittsburgh, Nashville, Vail, Charlotte, and Toronto.

Twelve years after expanding to the U.S., Sixt now operates more than 100 car rental stations in 22 states, employs more than 1,200 team members, and serves at 40 U.S. airports. Last July, Sixt expanded to Canada.

“Sixt is thrilled to bring our premium service to our nation’s capital,” said Tom Kennedy, CEO at Sixt USA. “As a major hub for government, commercial, and leisure travel, DCA is a valuable location for us, and we are confident Sixt will quickly become the car rental provider of choice for DCA travelers who value a premium experience at an affordable price.”
