Sixt SE and Sixt Franchise USA, LLC has announced the opening of new U.S. franchise locations and the launch of a global franchise recruiting website.

In addition, Sixt is actively seeking franchisees in an initiative to expand its franchise network into the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America as part of its effort to further internationalize the group's business, says the company.

"We had a very active first year of franchising in the U.S., and we have strong momentum leading into 2014," said Craig Olson, vice president of North America Franchise Development for Sixt Franchise USA, LLC.

Sixt has also signed franchise agreements for other U.S. locations set to open in early 2014, including Austin, Texas, Weehawken, N.J., and several in Florida.

"Independent car rental operators, car dealership owners and entrepreneurs are great candidates for Sixt franchises,” said Olson. “We will be actively recruiting new franchisees at key industry trade shows like the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and the Car Rental Show."

For those interested in pursuing a franchise, Sixt just launched its new franchise website, which includes a listing of frequently asked questions and an outline of the Sixt franchise process. Visit www.sixt-franchise.com for more information.
