Sixt has won the Business Travel Award in the category “Best New Travel Technology Product.”
With more than 1,200 guests at this year’s award ceremony in London, the award is considered to be the “Oscar of the business travel industry.” The coveted award for the best technological travel innovation was presented to the Managing Director of Sixt U.K., Per Vögerl. The internationally renowned award is presented by Buying Business Travel, the leading business travel publication in the U.K.
An independent international jury had awarded prizes in 22 categories.
Commenting on Sixt’s recognition at the 25th Business Travel Awards, the jury said that with its app and the “ONE” platform, Sixt sent in a great submission that demonstrated innovation and all-round growth. One judge said Sixt is a ‘super brand’ with its Sixt App and the ‘ONE’ platform showing it is leading the way, with the brand only going to get bigger and stronger in the international mobility market.
