Skurt Launches Delivery Service in Miami
Skurt, a transportation service that delivers rental cars, has launched in Miami. Skurt partners with rental companies to offer their fleet for daily rental through Skurt’s app.

Skurt, a transportation service that delivers rental cars, has launched in Miami. Skurt partners with rental companies to offer their fleet for daily rental through Skurt’s app.
Skurt can drive reservations to a rental company’s sitting fleet, allowing the company to grow its business without additional investment into infrastructure, labor, and marketing, according to the company.
Drivers download the Skurt app and choose the car they need (options range from mid-size cars to SUVs, convertibles, and luxury options). Then Skurt will deliver the car to the customer’s door and pick it up once the rental is complete.
Skurt insures the risk of the renter damaging the vehicle up to $100,000, says the company.
“Miami presents a great opportunity for Skurt,” says Harry Hurst, co-founder of Skurt. “We're excited to help bring traditional rental company fleets to a new market of users seeking on-demand access to their cars.”
Launched in October 2015, Skurt currently operates in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Miami.
