South Carolina Airport Opens Rental Car Center
The new $3.3 million rental car center holds five rental car agencies in one parking garage at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in South Carolina.
The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in South Carolina opened its new rental car customer center on March 11, completing the first phase of the airport’s four-year terminal improvement project, according to GreenvilleOnline.com.
Five rental car agencies are now located on the first and second levels of parking garage A.
The new center cost $3.3 million of the total $115 million projected for the improvement program.
GSP officials launched the program in May 2012. Airport funds will cover 80% of the program and the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program Fund and the Transportation Security Administration will cover the rest.
