Southern California Enterprise Locations to Feature EV Charging Stations
Under a partnership with Go EV, Enterprise Rent-A-Car will install OpConnect Electric Vehicle charging stations at two of its Southern California offices.
Select Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations in California will be equipped with OpConnect Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations to assist customers who rent EVs.
Go EV, distributor of OpConnect, will install the stations at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Santa Monica and Torrance offices, according to a company announcement on June 11.
Unlike other charging stations that recharge two vehicles at a time, OpConnect’s design allows Enterprise to charge up to four vehicles at once to keep more EVs on the road.
"Our partnership with OpConnect enhances our ability to provide customers with the ultimate test drive when renting an electrical vehicle,” said Southern California Enterprise Director of Business Rental Greg Tabak. “Partnerships like this help manufacturers conduct hundreds of thousands of test drives that are essential to the adoption of new technology.”
Enterprise has other EV pilot programs in the Torrance area, where EV owners can charge their car while renting an EV at a discounted rate, as the company announced Feb. 7.
