Thrifty Adds 4 New Franchised Locations
New locations are opening in markets that include New Britain, Conn.; Lafayette, Ind.; Asheville, N.C. and San Antonio, Texas.
Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., continues its expansion, recently adding four new franchised locations to its network of U.S. locations.
To date, Thrifty Car Rental has 348 locations in the U.S., 151 of which are franchise-owned and operated.
New locations are opening in markets that include New Britain, Conn.; Lafayette, Ind.; Asheville, N.C. and San Antonio, Texas.
In New Britain, Conn., owner Salvatore Vaccaro has opened a local market Thrifty Car Rental location at 296 Allen Street. He will focus on growing Thrifty Car Rental's presence in Connecticut, with plans to open additional rental locations in neighboring towns.
Tom and Patricia Eden of Lafayette, Ind., have opened Thrifty Car Rental inside their AAMCO franchise at 4210 Commerce Drive. They plan to have a fleet of 40 to 50 vehicles in the summer.
In Asheville, N.C., Joe DiFeo, Sr. and Joe DiFeo, Jr. have opened a local market Thrifty Car Rental operation inside their Thrifty Car Sales dealership at 835 Brevard Road. They have been Thrifty Car Sales dealers since 2004, and Joe DiFeo, Jr. currently serves as a member of the Thrifty Car Sales Dealer Advisory Group.
In San Antonio, Texas, Richie Davis, Erik Baerresen, Drake Baerresen and Matt Griffin are operating a Thrifty Car Rental location inside their new Thrifty Car Sales dealership at 8187 Bandera Road. The location has a rental fleet of approximately 50 vehicles on rent. The partners recently opened the dealership, having provided advertising and marketing services to automotive dealerships in 28 states through their company, Turn-Key Events.
