Thrifty and Dollar Introduce Windows Phone Apps
The apps will allow Windows Phone users to make, view and modify reservations from their phone.
Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental launched new mobile apps for Microsoft's Windows Phone on Oct. 24 and 23, respectively. The apps allow customers to book a rental car in a three-step reservation process from their phones.
Other features on the apps include notifications about specials and promotions as well as nearby Dollar or Thrifty locations.
Customers will also able be able to save their existing reservations and profiles in order to modify reservations, view details about available rental cars and reserve additional features such as car seats or a navigation system.
Built by Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, migration.mobi and Microsoft, the apps are customized specifically for Windows Phone's user interface.
The Dollar and Thrifty Car Rental apps are available for free from the Windows Phone Store.
