According to a report from Australia’s Dubbo Photo News, Thrifty Car Rental has donated two Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles to Australian-based Royal Far West, a nonprofit that provides health services to children living in rural New South Wales. The donation is part of a three-year $100,000 sponsorship package.

With one vehicle in Sydney and the other in Dubbo, both cars will be used to make trips to rural communities to help care for children’s health care needs, according to the report. In addition, these visits can help build relationships with the countryside’s local health and education services.

“We travel thousands of kilometers each year in all kinds of conditions to establish the real health care needs of rural and remote communities, and put partnerships in place to make it possible for country kids to access the same level and type of health care as their urban cousins,” said Lindsay Cane, CEO of Royal Far West told Dubbo Photo News.
