Toyota Motor Corporation announced the launch of a premium car rental service in Japan, according to a press announcement.
The service is aimed to promote the Lexus brand by offering customers access to LS, GS, and IS sedans; the CT hatchback; and RX and NX SUV models. Toyota also rolled the premium rental service out in response to a growing luxury rental vehicle market in Japan.
Toyota will offer two price ranges for rentals, for current and previous model vehicles.
The premium rental service will begin in Toyota Rent a Car locations in Tokyo and select regions starting April 2.
