Travelauto.com, a UAE-based car rental and limousine services platform, has added Payfort, a Middle East-based new payment gateway, to its portal to facilitate the acceptance of all major debit and credit card payments including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Payfort will make it more convenient for customer in the U.S. and Middle East to make online car rental payments, according to Travelauto. Prior to Payfort, Travelauto used EBS, a payment system based in India.
Now Travelauto will have Payfort and EBS available to its customers; they can chose which payment option is more useful based on their location.
"By adding this new payment gateway, we aim at making things convenient for our customers while at the same time eliminating some unnecessary costs such as currency conversion to provide cheap car rentals," said Chandra Moulli, CEO of Travelauto.
Travelauto helps customers receive car rental quotes over its Web platform for a variety of vehicles ranging from economy, standard, midsize and luxury cars.
