Uber India is setting its sights on autonomous car rental and shuttle bus services, following its sale of Uber Eats, Inc 42 reports.
The San Francisco-based company has formed partnerships to source self-driving cars with mobility platforms Drivezy, Bounce, Zoomcar, and Revv. Uber will be following its model of not owning the vehicles.
Uber is reportedly testing its shuttle service and will be launching it in a few cities later this year. The buses are expected to seat 12 to 25 passengers. The company previously launched a shuttle service in Egypt,
