U.K.’s carsharing company Co-wheels has added 20 electric Renault Zoe vehicles to its rental fleet, according to a report by FleetNews.
Co-wheels users can rent a Zoe for 3.75 pounds an hour or 22.50 per day, says the report.
“Feedback to the Renault ZOE has been excellent, customers liking how simple it is to drive and finding the controls to be very straightforward,” Pierre Fox, director of Co-wheels, told FleetNews. “It’s the ideal size, too, and is the perfect vehicle for our carsharing model with 90% of customers’ journeys being local.”
Co-wheels operates its carsharing service in more than 40 U.K. locations, including Birmingham, Bristol, Gloucester, Oxford and Newcastle. Members can book cars online and access a vehicle by swiping a smartcard.
