Understanding Credit Card Insurance Coverage in Car Rental
At the Auto Rental Summit, attendees will learn about the benefits, limits and exclusions of the numerous credit card insurance policies as well as new insurance products offered by travel booking engines.
Does your front counter team fully understand the types of insurance coverage offered by your customers’ credit cards? Is your team informed of new insurance products offered by travel booking engines such as Expedia and Priceline?
These issues will be examined in the seminar “Understanding Credit Card Insurance Coverage” at the Auto Rental Summit, which takes place Oct. 29-30 at the Hollywood Beach Marriott in Hollywood, Fla.
The seminar will be presented by Leslie Saunders of Leslie Saunders: Insurance, Benefits and Training, the only woman-owned and certified insurance broker providing car rental insurance products and training on ethical selling. The company focuses on developing innovative insurance products, employee benefits and training services for local and airport car rental companies, travel industry organizations and airport concessionaires.
“With the sheer number of credit cards available today — not to mention new insurance products from the likes of Expedia and Priceline — understanding each and every policy can be a daunting task,” says Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “Leslie will educate attendees on these programs’ benefits, limits and exclusions, so in turn their front counter representatives will be better prepared to explain the value of their CDW and LDW programs.”
The 2012 Auto Rental Summit is a gold-level training and education conference designed to improve customer service of car rental operations. Auto rental managers, executives and employees from corporate, franchised and independent companies from North America and overseas are invited to attend.
The Summit will be held in conjunction with the first-ever Auto Rental News Professional of the Year Awards, which will honor three associates from auto rental companies worldwide who demonstrate and promote outstanding customer satisfaction within the car rental process.
