Vancouver Tops 100K car2go Members

Vancouver has become the first city in the world to top 100,000 car2go carsharing members, according to a report by The Province.
One in six Vancouver residents now subscribe to car2go’s services, says the company. They are sharing approximately 1,250 smart fortwo vehicles in the city.
car2go trips average about six kilometers in Vancouver, says the report.
car2go launched in Vancouver in 2011. Currently, it is located in several cities worldwide, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Toronto, New York City, Seattle, San Diego, Austin and Washington, D.C.
