Washington Dulles International Airport Signs Seven Car Rental Companies
Dulles welcomes Advantage Rent A Car as well as six returning companies to their rental car group.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) recently issued five-year contracts to seven rental car companies at Washington Dulles International Airport. Starting July 1, Dulles will offer travelers the following car rental options: Advantage Rent A Car, Avis Rent A Car, Budget Rent A Car, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo/National and Hertz.
According to MWAA, these car rental brands will pay the greater of their bid Minimum Annual Guarantee (MAG), which totaled $82,356,332, or 10 percent of gross receipts for each year in the five-year contract.
In addition, MWAA reports that the Airports Authority will receive $11,324,625 in facility rent over the contract period.
