Wisconsin Airport to Build Updated Rental Car Facility
Wisconsin’s Appleton International Airport has broken ground on a new rental car facility, which is set to open in spring 2017.
Wisconsin’s Appleton International Airport has broken ground on a new rental car facility, according to a report by the Post-Crescent.
The 7,000-square-foot consolidated rental car building will improve customer pick-up and return, says the report. Currently, the airport rental companies include Hertz, National Car Rental, Enterprise Rent-A-car, Budget Rent A Car, Avis Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. The building will also feature high efficiency energy systems to meet sustainability goals, according to the report.
Additionally, the airport project will include parking lot improvements and new sidewalks to get to the rental car facility from the airport terminal, according to the report.
The building is set to open in spring 2017.
