Zipcar and Divvy, a bike-sharing program, have partnered to provide a bundle offer to new and existing members of either service in the Chicago metropolitan area.
This new offer will be available through the end of the year.
“Zipcar’s ‘wheels when you want them’ service is a true complement to Divvy Bike Share,” said Charles Stephens, Zipcar Chicago’s regional general manager. “Both enhance the quality of life for city-dwellers by providing cost-effective alternative forms of mobility. We’re thrilled to be able to offer a bundle deal for Chicagoans to easily join two impactful transportation options, making it even more simple and easy to get around the city.”
More than 85% of Zipcar locations are within a block or two of a Divvy station, according to Zipcar.
“Today, we're making it even easier for Chicagoans to be members of both Divvy and Zipcar,” said Elliot Greenberger, Divvy’s general manager. ”While Zipcar prefers four wheels and we prefer two, we have a shared goal of making it easier and more affordable to get around the city.”
